On September 11, 2024, a delegation from the Hunan Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce visited the Malaysia Hunan Chamber of Commerce and held a forum with its corporate representatives. Both sides engaged in extensive discussions on promoting cooperation between Hunan and Malaysia in the fields of economy, trade, culture, and technology. They unanimously agreed to further strengthen communication and collaboration, jointly supporting the global expansion of Hunan enterprises and elevating Malaysia-Hunan cooperation to new heights. This exchange deepened the friendship between Hunan and the ethnic Chinese business community in Malaysia, laying a solid foundation for further expanding into the Southeast Asian market and advancing Hunan's high-level opening up to the world.

In the future, the Malaysia Hunan Chamber of Commerce will continue to serve as a bridge and link, assisting Hunan enterprises in integrating into the new global development landscape.

Following the talks, both parties attended the 17th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention held in Kuala Lumpur. Under the theme "Global Ethnic Chinese Entrepreneurs Unite, Creating New Opportunities for Shared Prosperity," the convention brought together elite ethnic Chinese entrepreneurs from around the world. The Malaysia Hunan Chamber of Commerce actively participated in the exchanges, promoted its business environment and development opportunities, and established preliminary cooperation intentions with multiple international ethnic Chinese business organizations and enterprises.
