On September 17, 2025, the "2025 Hunan (Nanning) Key Industrial Chain Cooperation Exchange and Matchmaking Meeting", an important supporting event of the 22nd China-ASEAN Expo, was successfully held at the Nanning Yuda International Hotel. Simon Zhou, President of the Malaysia Hunan Chamber of Commerce, and Katherine Zhou, Vice President of its Changsha Office, were invited to attend the meeting.

The matchmaking event, themed "Deepening Industrial Chain Cooperation, Jointly Building a New Development Paradigm," focused on key industrial sectors such as high-end equipment manufacturing, electronic information, biomedicine, and new energy and new materials, aiming to promote in-depth alignment of industrial chains between Hunan and ASEAN countries. This participation further strengthened the role of the Malaysia Hunan Chamber of Commerce in advancing China-Malaysia economic and trade cooperation, injecting new momentum for subsequently promoting the implementation of specific projects and deepening regional collaboration.
