On May 19, 2025, a delegation from the Hunan Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese visited the Malaysia Hunan Chamber of Commerce and held discussions with corporate representatives. The two sides engaged in exchanges focusing on promoting the return of Hunan entrepreneurs, empowering Chinese enterprises in global expansion, and deepening the development of overseas Chinese organizations. Tang Li, head of the delegation and Second-Level Inspector of the Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, conveyed the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the spirit of the 2025 National Two Sessions.
He emphasized that Hunan is fully committed to optimizing its business environment and continuously easing market access for foreign investment, creating a broad platform and favorable conditions for overseas Chinese entrepreneurs to return and invest in their hometown. Tang Li expressed hope that the Malaysia Hunan Chamber of Commerce would fully carry forward its fine traditions of patriotic dedication and unity, leverage its unique advantages in extensive connections and abundant resources, and further strengthen economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between Malaysia and Hunan. He also encouraged the Chamber to actively introduce high-quality resources and elements from Malaysia, assist Hunan enterprises in "going global," expand into international markets, and jointly forge a new phase of mutual benefit and shared development.
